DEF Remaining and Dist Remaining Report same value

My "DEF Remaining" accurately reports "10.5 gal"  I recently added the "DEF Distance Remaining" and it reports "10.5 mi"   Something is wrong.  I have a 2014 Newmar Dutch Star on the Freightliner XCR chassis with a Cummins ISL9 engine.  The adapter is a 4.1.0-C-9–pin
F5751494416BA67F625D18E7AFA.  The app version is  9.7.5.  Thanks
