The Adapter connect to our free App to provide you with information that is contained in the on-board computers (ECMs) of your vehicle (motorhome, truck, etc). From our App you can create a custom dash, read and reset faults, log and download information, and many other functions.

The Adapter connects to newer vehicles (early 2000's to present) that have a 9-pin diagnostic port, and to older vehicles (mid 1990's to early 2000's) that have a 6-pin diagnostic port via a 9-pin to 6-pin converter cable.

Check your vehicle diagnostic port, usually located under the dash on the driver's side to determine if you have a 6-pin or a 9-pin. It is also highly recommened that you check out the Getting Started document under the Apps tab for more information on the diagnostic port and our Adapter.

The Adapter communicates with Apple, Android, Amazon, and Windows applications. The BlueFire App is free and available from the associated App Stores. The Apps tab has links to the Apps plus a highly recommended Getting Started document.

We also offer an Open Source API that is available from the Apps tab. If you have an application that needs vehicle information, the API can provide you with that data.
