If you had similar struggles AND found a solution please share.  Chuck 2006 Seeya on a Freightliner chassis with a CAT C7 engine

See if the data is available on the J1708 data bus (App Settings page).

Also clear the Persistent Data and have the App calculate fuel level and fuel economy (App Settings page). See the Getting Started document's Persistent Data and Fuel and DEF sections.

Turn on both J1939 and J1708 and see if that helps.

It is now working perfectly,. Thank you. Next project unclutter the screen.
