Bluefire does not receive data for fuel level.  It's not sent on the data bus.
What I do is monitor the mileage and fuel consumption and send that data to a fuel gauge.  I tap the fill when filling.  The software will allow for generator or other use.  I have done it this way for years....and it works well.  Good luck
