After installing both the 3.21 Firmware and 9.5.2 Software update all heck brook loose. LOL
1. I'm now experiencing major Bluetooth connectivity issues. 2. Can't use a previous dash because it is "too old".
I never had any obvious BT connectivity issues before this. I can't say what my connection strength was before but now is 40 or less with the iPad mini mounted to the dash about 36" above the adaptor.

I have the same connectivity problems since I upgraded the firmware and app. In my old rv the distance was about 4 ft now it is only 1 ft During my last trip had about 10 lost connections (4 hour drive) also using a gps via BT which is 5 ft away never had any problems.

I have since upgraded to an iPad Air Gen 4 and see little difference. I do find that I get marginally better signal strength in the landscape view with the power button to the right.
I have also noticed that I do get dropped connection during the first few minutes after start up. That seems to correlate with batter voltage levels as the alternator stabilizes voltage levels. However, I still get intermittent drops well after that for no discernible reason.
I just acquired an extension cable for the adaptor and will move the adapter from under the dash to above the dash. I find having to do that a bit ridiculous given past performance but such is life.
