Coach engine currently won't start due to an issue. So I want to look at codes via BF. Codes are displayed on the Prevost console, but I can't access them thru BlueFire. I'm new to BlueFire, but a few weeks ago I was able to get data (never tried to look at codes).

Coach has a 6 pin port and I'm using the 9 pin green adapter with an iPad. So I'm using a cable dongle to solve the 6 to 9 pin issue.

Monitor Faults is selected.
Connect to J1708 is selected.

When I connect the app, I get a blinking Blue adapter.
It indicates "Key is Off".
But when I turn on the coach key to ON, I don't get any additional data, and "key is Off" still shows.
Note: The coach engine will not start right now, that's exactly why I want to access the codes thru BF.

Why would "Key is Off" still show even when key is on but engine is not running?

I eventually resolved this issue (including the engine not starting) by rebooting the ECU that controls the DD-60 engine. Seems the computer was screwed up.

There's a possibility that the adapter caused the issue. See the Getting Started document's J1708 Data Bus section.

BTW, how did you reboot the ECU?

On a prevost bus, CB19 & CB20 provide 12v power to the ECU. So simply tripping those two breakers and then resetting them will cause ECU reboot. A prevost circuit diagram will confirm the correct Circuit breakers for your specific bus, but I believe CB19 & CB20 were common for many years.
These two breakers are normally located in the electrical bay just forward of the engine, passenger side. On an H model, this is the bay that holds the engine batteries.
