Just curious... My speedometer is off by 5mph. When I'm traveling at an indicated (speedo/bluefire) 65 mph my actual road speed is 60 mph. Freightliner says a ECM parameter needs adjusted so they display correctly. I have set an offset in Bluefire so it now reads correctly, but my dash speedometer and odometer are still wrong. So, my question is - Can I use the advanced function of Bluefire to "send" the correct value to the ECM so the speedo reads correctly? I understand I'd need to know the correct PGN/PID and value. Freightliner estimates it will cost 300-400 if I bring it to them to fix and they have no idea when they'd be able to look at it. |

Sorry, updating the ECM is not possible through the diagnostic connector unless you have their expensive software (they update the ECM memory directly with secured messages).
