Just curious... My speedometer is off by 5mph. When I'm traveling at an indicated (speedo/bluefire) 65 mph my actual road speed is 60 mph. Freightliner says a ECM parameter needs adjusted so they display correctly. I have set an offset in Bluefire so it now reads correctly, but my dash speedometer and odometer are still wrong. So, my question is - Can I use the advanced function of Bluefire to "send" the correct value to the ECM so the speedo reads correctly? I understand I'd need to know the correct PGN/PID and value. Freightliner estimates it will cost 300-400 if I bring it to them to fix and they have no idea when they'd be able to look at it.

Sorry, updating the ECM is not possible through the diagnostic connector unless you have their expensive software (they update the ECM memory directly with secured messages).

That's what I figured but was hoping the Send Data could be used to make the update.
