When I start up BF (Version 5.0.1) it tells me that there is a new version.. do you want to read about it? (I've READ about all of them).. so NO.. Do you want to go to the app store and download and install the update? YES .. goes to the app store. The GOOGLE app store (I'm on an Android Levono Tablet) shows BF so I click on it and it opens.. then I see UNINSTALL or OPEN.. when I click OPEN, I go through the entire process again... or it just opens the current version again. I've been through this cycle about 40 times over the last month and it always comes out the same. According to the best info I can find, the latest version of the app is 5.1.3 .. so HOW DO I GET TO IT?

If it matters, I am also at least 1 version of firmware behind. I updated my firmware about 6 months or so ago, but only today did I get a notification that there was a new version available. Just haven't gotten to that yet, but am mentioning it in case it affects my question above.

NOW, when I logged in here, I got a notification that the shop is CLOSED until about 2 weeks ago. SO.. is anyone here? I posted a series of questions about how the app calculates stuff a little over a month ago and it's still sitting there with no responses.

06 Tiffin Phaeton using 8" Lenovo Tablet to TRY to get some really useful info from the TRIP part of the software ... so far unsuccessfully.

I went to the store and when I clicked to download, the site told me that file was already downloaded. I cancelled out and installed the one that was already on my computer. After installation, the tablet says I now have 5.1.1 and 'pings' me that a newer version is available. Did you happen to name the most recent file the EXACT same as the previous one? Is the site only checking for fileNAME and ignoring time stamps? Would it do me any good to dl again? I think you need to have more info available.. like a timestamp and filesize so we can be sure.

It would also be nice to have SOME way to tell in the Getting Started Doc .. just WHAT is NEW? Having to read the entire thing from scratch every time it's updated ..trying to figure out what has been changed/added is tough. It would also be nice to have a DATE of most recent update so we can at least tell if it has been updated since we last dl'd it.

Edit .. never mind about the same name thing.. I dl'd it again and that DOES appear to be the case. Suggest you add the Version number to the filename in the future so it will be more clear to dummies like me :-).
