Hey Mark;

I just updated my BF using the drop box to ver 3.1-9-3.14

The update seemed to go fine according to instructions. My android app will not find the BF adapter. It is blinking blue. It found it before I did the update to confirm my software which was 3.9. My app version is 4.11. Can you instruct me on what I now must do to get the two talking to each other?

Hi Ron,

You used the wrong file. You have a '2.1' adapter (Bluetooth Classic). The '3.1' firmware is for the Bluetooth LE adapter. Re-flash your adapter with the 2.1-9-3.14 file and you should be good to go.
