I have always had bluetooth connectivity problems. One of the recent software updates added a selection where one could actually see how good or poor the bluetooth signal was. I had normally had the iPad setting on the dash ~ 3ft directly above the adapter. The adapter is located under the dash near the floor. The bluetooth signal from this location was marginal. So I moved the iPad to several locations without much improvement. One of the suggestions was to get an extension cord and locate the adapter closer to the iPad. Before throwing good money after bad and purchasing an extension cord, I placed the iPad on the floor right next to the adapter to record the bluetooth signal. No improvement!! As it stands right now with poor/marginal bluetooth signal, I start my engine and the iPad connects. Everything is reporting. I begin my trip and after ~ 10 minutes the iPad screen freezes and I have to stop and close the BF program on the iPad and start over. Then 10 minutes later same problem.
