Not sure if this is required with the program used to run everything, but the configuration pages should (could?) be a simple long form with fields and NOT all of the description text. Allow a hover over "?" to show the explanation text in green. All field values should be visible all the time and entering a field, making a change and going to another field should be one-click. Clicking on a item, then clicking again in the field. Then having it not show the cursor. Then having to go in and out and scroll down and see and then back up. Not the easiest.

Put the gauge in the top-right in an absolute box that stays in the top-right while making any edit. Simply a single line for each value and field. Only have divider lines between groupings of fields to help show the related lines together.
