Starting a few days ago, I started getting a pop up message that a serious error had occurred and that logs had been sent to the developer. After that, much of the display stopped updating (such as trip distance). Not sure if logs were actually sent, or what the cause is. I have used this version since it was released without this issue. Any updates?

Nothing received, try sending it manually (Settings/Send the Event Log).

The App is receiving too many Bluetooth write failures so it issues a system error. The next version will not issue a system error, it will just disconnect and reconnect the adapter. Just curious, is there anything else running on your tablet or is the BlueFire App dedicated?

Nothing else is running on the tablet except Bluefire. However, since the last trip I did finish a solar install and there are 3 Victron devices running that all have Bluetooth communications active and they are right behind the drivers seat in the compartment below. Could it be interference from those devices causing BT congestion?

Don't know as I'm not that kind of expert. Maybe experiment by switching them off? You can also pick up a J1939 extension cable and move the adapter. But first try some of the connection issue suggestions in the Getting Started document in the Retrieving Data section.

Turned all of the Victron devices off that use Bluetooth (3 of them and that seemed to have fixed the issue. Two days of travel and about 850 miles and no crashes.

Interesting. Good to know. Maybe post this on the IRV2 forums for others to know about?
