I have just finished my first long trip with the adapter and found two items of inconvenience. I am not sure to wether to call these bugs or feature request:
iOS does not seem to recognize the app running. Unless the automatic lock is set to “OFF”, the device need to be unlocked after the time in the IOS setting has expired.
The new trip issues a warning that GPS is needed, unless the IOS setting for location service for BlueFire is “Always On”.
The two items seem to be related.

It's working on my iPhone 6+ running iOS 12.3.1. Were you connected to the adapter? It only keeps the phone from locking if you're connected to the adapter.

Yes, I was connected to the adapter. During my trip I had to change the Autolock in the Display and Brightness IOS settings to Off to keep the tablet from locking. Today I tested this again on my iPad Pro 11 as well as on an IPhone X, iPhone Xs. In addition all 3 devices required the location services set to “All the Time”for the trip to work with GPS. I can see that it would be necessary on the truck version but not on the RV.

This is a known issue with iOS 12.3. There is a possible workaround that I put in version 3.9. Let's see if that fixes it.
