I have a 1997 Prevost bus and bought the 6 pin adapter J1708 for apple mini I Pad, plugging in adapter can I harm anything on bus (DDEC) ? Don't want to deprogram my DDEC. Is there a Phone # for Blue Fire to speak to tech?

What we have experienced with older J1708 (6-pin) ECMs is that some were not programmed according to the J1708 specifications and thus may raise one or more faults when using the adapter. If this occurs, unplugging the adapter usually clears the faults but you're then out of luck for using the adapter (we do offer a full refund).
