I can connect to the adapter fine from my iPhone, but not from my iPad.
The iPad is a bit old, it's an iPad2 running iOS v9.3.5. This is the latest version of iOS supported on this iPad.
When I click on the BlueFire Connect icon, i get a dialog from BlueFire: "Bluetooth is not available. Check your bluetooth settings".

From the iPad settings, bluetooth seems fine. However i'm wondering if there's a minimum version of Bluetooth required by BlueFire which is not supported by the older iPad.?

I've tried rebooting the iPad, cycling Bluetooth on the iPad.

I suspect this is an issue with my iPad, but wondering if there's a known issue with older iPads.

I am having same issue. Purchased the BlueFire tht supports iOS.
It connects to my Android phone via bluetooth.
But will not connect bluetooth to my iPad 2 or my iPad 6.
Re plugged BlueFire, restarted iPads.
Does not find BlueFire in bluetooth settings.
Not sure what else to do.

Doing some research and it looks like Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is only supported with the iPad 3rd Gen and above. Here is what supports BLE and our adapter:

iPhone 4s or later
iPad Mini or later
iPad (3rd gen) or later
iPad Pro 9.7-inch or iPad Pro 12.9-inch
iPod Touch (5th gen) or later

My iPad 6 is 2018 with Bluetooth 4.2.
Replugged adapter.
Adapter lights blinking blue to blinking red, then solid red, then back to blinking blue.
Rebooted iPad 6.
Turned on Bluetooth.
Sees several other bluethooth devices but does not see BlueFire.
Opened BF App and tried to connect anyway, but tries several times then times out.

Hummm, should connect to the iPad 6 just fine. If you have 'Connect to Last Adapter' checked in Settings, uncheck it and see if that makes a difference. You could also try resetting the App to factory settings but export your dash first. And maybe the IRV2 Newmar forum might be able to shed some light.

If you're going to reset the App to factory settings, send me the Event Log first (just above the Reset App in Settings).

Mark,
Thanks for feedback.
Sent you the dump file.
Then reset app.
Re plugged BF adapter.
Restarted BF app.
Turned BT on in settings but still does not see BF Adapter.
Tried to connect via BF App, but cycles for several times and times out.

Also, tried to connect BF Adapter to iPhone 7S.
Does not see the BF adapter.
Also, tried to connect via BF App as well.
Same issue, cycled few times and times out.

Android devices easily see the BF Adapter, but no iOS device can see it.
Is there anyway that my adapter electronics are Android Windows only and not for iOS.

Adapter has the correct green housing.
Info from Android phone is as follows
My app 3.1
Build 9/20/18. 956A

Adapter 3.17
HW 2.1. 9 pin
SN 6AD151DE02

Stumped
Jeff

Jeff, you do have the Android/Windows 10 adapter (HW 2.1. 9 pin). What confused me was in your first post you mentioned that it connected to your iPhone. Did you purchase it from our Store or from Amazon? Either way you can just send it back and re-order the iOS version. If you bought it from our Store, I'll credit your card when you send it back.
