I bought the latest Bluetooth adapter and a 6-9 pin cable.
My adapter will not stayed connected for more than 3 minutes and then it does not auto connect.
I have an 2003 Alpine Coach with the 6 pin connector connected to a 10 inch Galaxy Tablet A.
Enabled Auto Connect
Enabled BLE
Enabled Connect to Last Adapter
Enabled Remember Motorhome Info On Exit
Enabled Connect to a J1708 Data Bus

It just doesn't stay connected.

Send me the App's event log (Settings/Send the Event Log) and I'll take a look. Let me know when you have sent it too.

Did you ever figure out what was going on with this? I have the same setup and it does the same thing. Sometimes it will stay connected for 10 minutes . . . . Sometimes an hour . . . Sometimes all day. Am getting ready to dump this tab for a windows tablet.

Android and Microsoft were late in the game with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). And Samsung is notorious for loading up a lot of junk in their devices. Apple is the most stable and iPads are the most popular. The new Amazon Fire HD Plus tablets seem to be growing in popularity too.

I think I have found my solution for Windows. The security features of Windows Defender checks for untrusted apps. Even with downloading the app from the Windows store it isn't recognized as a safe app to run. I shut off the checking/monitoring of apps. Ran all day with no shut downs. Had a persistent Bluetooth connection. Mark might want to check with Microsoft and see what is going on. It is not a Bluetooth issue, it is a problem with Windows not recognizing the app as safe.
