Installed adapter it connects just fine and all gauges seem to be correct except coolant temperature. The dash gauge reads 180ish which is what a ir gun shows at the inlet tubes of radiator. Bluefire reads around 150. Is it possible the adapter is bad. The log that I have shows the low readings. This is on a Detroit 6v92

We just take what we get from the ECM and show it. But with J1708 anything is possible. Maybe the OEM is using an analog dash gauge because the ECM is reporting wrong? Or maybe they know this and have adjusted for it internally?

Try checking the IRV2 forums too for others who may be experiencing similar behavior.
