I current use Torque with a bluetooth adapter on an extension cable on my 2013 Winnebago Sightseer 33C with the ford V10 Gas engine. Will the BlueFire app pair with this OBD II Bluetooth adapter? If not what do I need to purchase to use the BF app?

Hi Bill,

Our adapter is designed for the J1939 9-pin Deutsch diagnostic connector. We do connect with a OBD2 to Deutsch 9-pin adapter which is what I use for my 2018 Subaru Outback. However the OBD2 spec doesn’t show as much data as the J1939 does so you may not get all the gauges. What you could do is to give it a go and see what you get. We do have a money back guarantee and I believe the OBD2 adapter does too. Below are the links to a couple of ones I know work with our adapter.

https://bluefire-llc.com/store/obd2-adapter – OBD2 adapter (link is in the description)

https://bluefire-llc.com...i-to-deutsch-9-pin-cable – another OBD2

BTW, we will be down at the Quartzsite RV Show next week and hope to try the adapter on some gas engine motorhomes.

Cheers,

Mark.
