The driver should install if you follow the instructions exactly and to the letter. Do not try to install it like you would with a regular Windows driver. It is possible also that a firewall could keep the driver install from working.

As the old saying goes "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". So if everything is running fine, you don't need to update the firmware. But the 4.1 update does have some significant improvements especially with the stronger signal strength.

Well, we don't really like to update the firmware all that often. With 3.23.0 being new, there may be a 3.23.1 but that should be it for quite a while.

When there is an App or Firmware update, our server is updated and provided you are connected to the Internet, the App will notify you of the update. Plue the About page will always show you the current App and Firmware version.

Your persistent data total fuel used is somehow imperial. Try the following:

1. Reset Persistent Data by unchecking the 'Calculate Fuel Economy' and then rechecking it.

2. Remove your Fuel Used Offset (set it to 0).

Your existing trips will still be wrong but new trips should be correct.

The next App version (9.7.0) scheduled for this weekend will fix the App periodically "crashing".

You can set the App to not auto-update by Google. Just search for how to do it.

Starting Monday 11/28, all adapters will be sent out or updated with the 4.1 hardware upgrade and the latest firmware (3.23.0). If you have a 3.1 adapter you still need to send it in the get the initial 4.1 upgrade.

That feature will be available in App version 9.7.0 scheduled for this weekend.

4.1 Adapter Updates
    •  New Bluetooth firmware.
    •  Stronger signal strength.
    •  Faster connection, re-connection and data retrieval times.
    •  Only compatible with BLE Adapters and App version 9.6.8+.
    •  Removed the Adapter Heartbeat. A disconnected App is now detected using Bluetooth rather than the heartbeat.
    •  Removed the App heartbeat to the Adapter. A disconnected Adapter is now detected using Bluetooth rather than the heartbeat.
    •  Two hardware versions:
        •  A manufactured version that performs a hardware Bluetooth factory reset (4.1).
        •  A 3.1 converted version that performs a software Bluetooth factory reset (4.1-C).

Note - Updating a 3.1 Adapter requires the Adapter to be sent in with a Firmware Update order due to the need for special hardware. It cannot be updated with the Firmware Update Program.

@Ronn Axx - Send me the App’s event log (Settings/Send the Event Log) so I can take a look. Let me know when you have sent the event log.
